Come learn about what our own club members are up to in their own research labs! Chaya Manjeshwar, Smriti Ramesh, and Natalie Tokita will be describing their work as part of the Mazumder Lab (UCLA DGSOM), Hu Lab (UCLA School of Dentistry), and Labyrinth Project (UCLA Institute of Society and Genetics), respectively! Chaya will be presenting her work on how insurance coverage differences impact epileptic patient time to surgery, Smriti will be presenting her work on using mice models to study the effect of myosin deletions on tooth regeneration, and Natalie will be discussing her work analyzing and archiving documents and other artifacts related to animal welfare in the Los Angeles Area.
